Tinubu Urges Governors To Focus On Delivering Results.
President Bola Tinubu has called on governors to remain focused on delivering tangible results that improve the lives of their people, urging them to disregard armchair critics. The President made the charge during a two-day visit to Katsina, where he commissioned a 24-kilometre road and the Katsina Agricultural Mechanised Centre.
Tinubu commended Governor Dikko Radda for his efforts in improving agriculture, healthcare, education, and infrastructure in the state. He noted that hunger and poverty remained the biggest threats to peace in the country and emphasized the importance of food security and agricultural development.
The President highlighted the federal government’s commitment to agriculture, stating that the Bank of Agriculture would be resuscitated and repositioned to meet farmers’ needs and improve farming and agricultural production. He also commended Radda for his progressive approach to governance and thanked past governors of the state for their purposeful leadership.
Tinubu urged governors to pay more attention to agriculture, noting that it would be a key driver of prosperity and growth. He commended Radda for introducing a mechanisation programme and constructing a 24-kilometre road, which he said spoke volumes about the effectiveness of the government.
The President’s visit was attended by several governors, former governors, and ministers, and marked a significant moment in the country’s efforts to promote development and progress.
