Sancho Linked With Wolves As Summer Transfer Market Gathers Momentum

Sancho Linked With Wolves As Summer Transfer Market Gathers Momentum.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have emerged as surprise contenders to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho this summer, as the transfer window begins to heat up across Europe. The 25-year-old England international, currently on loan at Chelsea, could be set for a fresh start at Molineux, according to Football Transfers.

Sancho is not the only Manchester United star generating transfer buzz. Argentina winger Alejandro Garnacho, 20, has sparked speculation over his future after reportedly listing his £3.85 million mansion for sale just a year after purchasing it (The Sun) Meanwhile, the Red Devils are also eyeing reinforcements, with interest in Lyon’s talented French attacker Rayan Cherki. The 21-year-old has a £25 million release clause, attracting both United and Tottenham Hotspur (GiveMeSport).

United’s attacking options could be further bolstered as the club reportedly considers a move for Nigeria international Ademola Lookman. The 27-year-old forward has impressed at Atalanta and is viewed as a solution to United’s goal-scoring issues (Caught Offside).

Elsewhere, Sporting CP may be set to lower their asking price for prolific Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres. Originally valued at £85 million, the Portuguese side are now reportedly willing to accept around £59 million. Both Arsenal and Manchester United remain interested in securing his signature (The Athletic)

In Italy, Juventus are leading the chase for Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli. However, Manchester United are expected to provide stiff competition for the 26-year-old striker (Teamtalk).

Arsenal, on the other hand, have cooled their interest in Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak. The 25-year-old Swedish striker is now likely to be offered a new contract by the Magpies, according to The Chronicle.

In other transfer developments, Arsenal are also tracking Espanyol’s promising Spanish goalkeeper Joan García, 23, although Bayer Leverkusen are said to be leading the race (Bild via Get German Football News). Meanwhile, Inter Milan have ruled out a move for Manchester City’s Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, 33, citing concerns about his age (Calciomercato)

Over in Spain, Real Madrid are open to extending German defender Antonio Rüdiger’s contract beyond 2026, despite mounting interest from the Saudi Pro League (Florian Plettenberg).

Finally, Chelsea have no plans to part ways with Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernández. The 24-year-old remains a key part of the club’s future under manager Enzo Maresca (Fabrizio Romano), while Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso is content to remain with the German champions and is reportedly happy to wait for the opportunity to eventually take over from Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid (Relevo).
