NPFL Matchday 32: Struggling Gombe United made a remarkable comeback, securing a thrilling 3-2 victory over title-chasing Lobi Stars after a series of disappointing results.
Stephen Eneji swiftly put Lobi Stars in the lead within the first minute, but Gombe United responded strongly. Emmanuel Michael equalized in the 22nd minute, followed by Anayor Ogbonna’s brace in the 73rd and 83rd minutes, giving the hosts a lead. Stanley Oganbor managed to reduce the deficit for Lobi Stars with a goal in the 90th minute.

This win propelled Shooting Stars to the 4th position, while Sunshine Stars dropped to the 18th spot in the league standings.
