Governorship candidates of some political parties in Rivers State Hold Protest At Police Headquarters With Various Claims Of Harasment And Intimidation by the incumbent Governor, Nyesom Wike ahead of Saturday’s election.
The candidates are Senator Magnus Abe of the Social Democratic Party, Tonye Cole, All Progressives Congress, Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs, Accord and Tonte Ibraye, African Democratic Congress.
The opposition parties also claimed that their members and supporters were being detained unlawfully by security operatives in the state working for Governor Wike and called for their immediate release.
