Google further disrupted has it announced that iOS users can now include audio when sharing their screen using Google Meet. This means users can now create a more engaging and interactive meeting experience going forward.
This feature development the company said the will take effect for Android in mid-August 2023.
“If you’re using Google Meet on a mobile device, you can now share audio in addition to your screenshare,” the tech giant said in a Workspace Updates blog post. Once you have enabled audio, the audio from your screen will be shared with the other participants in the meeting. This is a great way to share presentations, videos, or other audio-visual content with others in a meeting.
If you are an iOS user and you need to share your screen with audio in Google Meet, then you can do so by following the steps below:
- Open the Google Meet app on your iPhone or iPad
- Join a meeting or start a new one
- Click on the Present button
- Select the Screen option
- Check the Include audio checkbox
- Click on the Present button
A single Google group can be a member of 30,000 shared drives.
Google also added that a single group can now be added to no more than 30,000 shared drives. Earlier, a single Google group could be added as a member to an unlimited number of shared drives.
Google makes it easy for Docs users to add line numbers.
In another development, Google has also rolled out a new feature for its Docs app. With this new feature, users now have the ability to automatically add line numbers. This feature was announced by the company on its Google Workspace blog post and will be rolled out to all Google Workspace customers and users with personal Google Accounts in the coming weeks.
