The Federal Government has granted 73 students the opportunity to study in Hungary through the Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA).
This initiative aims to support academically excellent students who lack the means to finance their studies abroad.
Out of the 150 scholarship applications received, 73 students were selected to embark on this educational journey. These scholars are scheduled to depart from Nigeria over the coming weekend.
During a pre-departure briefing ceremony held in Abuja, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, the Minister of State for Education, expressed that these scholarships are a recognition of excellence and serve as encouragement for bright Nigerian students who may not have had the financial means to pursue studies overseas.
The initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which emphasises making quality education accessible to all Nigerians.
