According to the information gathered, the Benue State Commissioner of Information and Tourism, Mathew Abo, has been abducted. Abo was abducted from his residence in the Zaki-Biam community in the Ukum Local Government Area of the state on Sunday night.  He had recently been sworn in as a member of the Benue State Executive Council on August 29th, 2023. In Akure, the capital of Ondo State, Nigeria, a 24-year-old man named Pelumi Folorunsho has been apprehended by the Ondo State Police Command for allegedly sodomising his eight-year-old step-brother.  The incident occurred at the suspect’s residence on No. 3, Odige Street, in the NEPA area of Akure.  Neighbours caught Folorunsho in the act and subsequently handed him over to law enforcement authorities.
