Felix Ademola, an Ibadan-based photojournalist, believed by many to have saved a former Governor of old Oyo State and Attorney General and Minister of Justice, late Chief Bola Ige from the assassin’s bullet in 1983 has been buried. The Director-General, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN), Olawale Fasanya, has lamented that between 2017 to 2021 alone, over two million businesses in Nano, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (nMSMEs), subsection died. The Central Bank of Nigeria has stated that banks should transfer funds in accounts that have been dormant for at least, 10 years into a trust fund account. Amnesty International has decried what it describes as the utter failure of the Nigerian authorities to learn from the heartbreak of Chibok town in Borno State and, ultimately, to protect children. House of Representatives committee has commenced investigation on “illegal sales” of crude oil by officials of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), on missing oil. The committee, headed by Mark Gbillah commenced the investigation on Tuesday with an appearance by the Code of Conduct Bureau. The Falconets are among the seven teams that will participate in the inaugural edition of the competition.
