Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, has emerged the new chairman of the Northern State Governors Forum (NSGF). He succeeded the outgoing governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong, as chairman of NSGF. Simon Lalong held the position for over three years and has just completed his term of office. Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, has said that the newly inaugurated Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals will help Nigeria generate more power for its electricity sector.
