Nigerian singer-songwriter Adekunle Gold has added his voice to the growing concerns about Nigeria’s economic situation.

On his Snapchat account, he expressed his desire for iconic duo Psquare to re-release their hit song “E No Easy,” featuring himself.

Adekunle Gold took to social media to share his thoughts, stating: “Na this year Psquare suppose sing ‘E No Easy’. Make them feature me, make I express my feelings for verse 3.” This call to action underscores his deep connection to the song, which resonates with the current economic challenges facing Nigeria.

By inviting Psquare to collaborate on a remix, Adekunle Gold aims to utilize the platform to express his sentiments about Nigeria’s economic situation. “E No Easy” originally addressed similar economic struggles, making it a fitting anthem for these trying times.

Adekunle Gold’s plea comes at a time when many Nigerian celebrities are speaking out against economic hardship, inflation, and unemployment in the country.
