Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs, Michele Sison, is set to embark on a diplomatic mission to Berlin, Germany, from April 10th to April 12th, 2024.
The purpose of her visit is to engage in discussions with German counterparts on various multilateral and UN-related matters.
Key topics on the agenda include deliberations on the upcoming Summit of the Future, strategic plans for the 2025 UN Peacekeeping Ministerial, and the identification of shared priorities within the Human Rights Council.
Additionally, Assistant Secretary Sison will actively participate in the third annual Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Workshop organized for the Bureaus of European and Eurasian Affairs and International Organization Affairs.
