Nigerian comedienne and actress, Wofai Fada, has tied the knot with her heartthrob, Taiwo Cole, in a civil wedding ceremony in Lagos.
The couple shared photos and videos from the intimate ceremony on Instagram, with Wofai looking stunning in a white short gown and Taiwo dashing in a blue suit.
Their special day was filled with love and gratitude, as evident in Wofai’s heartfelt caption: “Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite. Legally hitched.” She also expressed thanks to their supporters, saying, “Thank you guys for all the love and congratulatory messages… My online family, y’all are the best”.
This civil union follows their traditional wedding in May, where they celebrated Wofai’s Ugep culture and Cross River heritage. However, their journey to marriage hasn’t been without controversy, as Wofai faced disapproval from her in-laws, who publicly opposed the marriage due to the age difference between the couple.
