President Bola Tinubu has approved the establishment of Nigeria as the host nation for the Regional Maritime Development Bank (RMDB) and appointed Mr. Adeniran Aderogba as its inaugural President and Chief Executive Officer.
The announcement was made by the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, through a press release issued by his Media and Communications Adviser, Bolaji Akinola. This development marks a significant milestone for a project first conceived in 2009 by the Maritime Organization of West and Central Africa (MOWCA) member states.
