Tammy Abraham Keen On Visiting Nigeria Despite Choosing England.
AC Milan striker Tammy Abraham has expressed his desire to visit Nigeria again, even though he opted to represent the England national team instead of the Super Eagles. The 26-year-old, born in Camberwell, London, to Nigerian parents, shared his deep connection to the country, revealing that his upbringing was heavily influenced by Nigerian culture.
Abraham made his competitive debut for England in 2020 during a UEFA Nations League match against the Czech Republic. He has since earned 11 caps for the Three Lions, scoring three goals, though he was not part of the squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup or the 2024 European Championships.
Despite his decision to represent England, Abraham remains fond of his Nigerian roots. He mentioned in a recent interview that he often enjoys Nigerian dishes cooked by his mother and hopes to return to the country soon.
Abraham currently plays club football for AC Milan in Italy, following a successful stint with AS Roma in Serie A. His international future may be firmly with England, but his heart remains tied to Nigeria, where he still feels a strong connection.
