Nigerian skit maker, Taaooma, and her husband, Abdulazeez ‘Abula’ Greene, have announced the arrival of their first child, a baby girl named Amani Korede Makeda Greene, born on November 7, 2024.
The couple shared the news on Instagram, posting a heartwarming video of their daughter. Taaooma and Greene have been private about their personal life, having kept their wedding under wraps until January 2022.
Greene, in a 2022 interview, revealed that keeping their marriage private was a mutual decision, stating that “sometimes, the things that keep you out should be kept coded”.
Taaooma, whose real name is Maryam Apaokagi, has gained popularity in the skit-making industry. She started skit-making after convincing her fiancé to teach her the basics of video editing. Her rise to fame began in 2019 with a skit based on African parents taking their children to school.
Her husband, Greene, is a cinematographer, music video director, and filmmaker. He currently serves as the CEO and founder of The Greenade Company. He has also directed music videos and commercials for top artists like Zlatan, Fireboy DML, Portable, Dr Dolor, Mohbad, Adekunle Gold, and Taaooma.
The couple’s announcement has been met with congratulations and well-wishes from fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry.
