Napoli talisman, Victor Osimhen netted four times as Nigeria humiliated Sao Tome and Principe 10-0 in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Monday.
Thanks to goals from Victor Osimhen,
Moses Simon, Emmanuel Dennis, Ademola Lookman, Etebo and Moffi to record the biggest win in the history of Super Eagles since 10-1 victory against the Squirrels of Benin Republic in 1959 at the Kwame Nkrumah Cup.
Osimhen now scores 15 goals in 23 appearances for the Super Eagles.
This has taken him above legends like Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha, Kanu Nwankwo and Daniel Amokachi in the all-time top scorers’ chart.
Osimhen is, however, behind Rashidi Yekini, Yakubu Ayegeni, Samson Siasia and Odion Ighalo.
