Super Eagles Returned Home Following Their Exploit In Cote d’Ivoire Where They Won A Silver Medal
The Super Eagles 25-man squad arrived the Federal Capital Territory in the early hours of today following their second-place finish at the just concluded African Cup of Nations final in Cotê D’Ivoire.
This was confirmed via a video shared on Instagram, by the Special Assistant on Media to the Minister of Sports, Diana-Mary Nsan,
The caption on the IG post reads, “At 12:30 am, the Super Eagles landed home, led by the Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, the NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau”.
“And On the tarmac, we had the GS of the NFF Dr Sanusi and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Sports, Mrs Watti among others.
Nigeria lost the title to the host nation Cote d’Ivoire 2-1 in the final of the 2023 AFCON at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan on Sunday.
