Sunshine Queens Express Support for Delta Queens FC After Accident
Sunshine Queens have extended their sympathies to Delta Queens FC following a tragic accident involving their officials en route to the Nigeria Women Football League matchday 10 fixture against Remo Stars Ladies.
The Owena Whales conveyed their solidarity in a statement issued by the club’s team manager, Kenny Odogun.
Odogun expressed gratitude that no lives were lost in the harrowing accident and offered prayers for the speedy recovery of the accident victims.
He called upon the Government of Delta State and the management of Delta Queens FC to provide unwavering support to the victims and their families during this challenging time.
In his statement, Odogun emphasized, “We are thankful to God for preserving the lives of those involved. It was not merely the skill of the driver that averted tragedy, but a divine grace that transcends all else.”
Delta Queens FC is scheduled to face Remo Stars Ladies at the Remo Stars Stadium later today.
