Sports and Tech Initiative Empowers Lagos Street Children.
Pistis Foundation, in collaboration with The Asumah Brothers, has launched a transformative initiative aimed at empowering 54 street children through sports and technology. The project, conducted in partnership with Kids Off The Streets, seeks to make a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable children in Lagos.
This innovative programme, inspired by the increasing number of street children, combines physical activity with technological education. Over the course of five weeks, children aged eight to 16 will receive comprehensive training in football, basic computing, digital literacy, and technology skills.
The initiative aims to equip these children with essential skills that will not only enhance their immediate well-being but also provide them with opportunities for a brighter future. By integrating sports and technology, the programme fosters a holistic development approach, ensuring that the children gain both physical and intellectual benefits.
The launch of this project marks a significant step towards addressing the challenges faced by street children in Lagos. Through this initiative, Pistis Foundation, The Asumah Brothers, and Kids Off The Streets hope to inspire change and create a positive impact in the community.
