Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has left Abuja, hours after regaining his freedom.
His lawyer, Stan Alieke, announced his release on Tuesday, January 21.
Activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju, who was part of Speed Darlington’s legal team, shared pictures of himself with the singer at the Nnamdi Azikwe airport. Adeyanju revealed he had dropped Speed Darlington off at the airport.
One of the pictures showed Speed Darlington smiling, a departure from his previous expressions after his release. Adeyanju captioned the pictures, “Just dropped off Akpi at the airport.”
