Nigerian singer, Skales, has expressed his sentiments regarding the recent death of an Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officer.
In a series of tweets, Skales shared his feelings about the incident, stating that he shouldn’t feel bad about it, but he’s actually happy it happened. He believes the agency should have anticipated the consequences of their operations.
Skales also opened up about his own traumatic experience with the EFCC, revealing that they invaded his home unannounced. He shared that if he had lost his cool that day, the outcome could have been disastrous. Skales had to relocate his family to a hotel and slept at a friend’s place for three days.
Even after almost a year, Skales’ family still hasn’t forgotten the trauma they faced. The singer emphasized that he will never forgive the EFCC for their actions.
