The recent ‘Ajakaju’ movie premiere turned into a battleground of words and diss tracks following Bobrisky’s surprising win as ‘Best Dressed Female.’
The event, attended by notable personalities like Femi Adebayo, Dayo Amusa, and Jigan Babaoja, became the epicenter of social media buzz.
Singer Portable, unhappy with Bobrisky’s win, dropped a diss track targeting the controversial figure, questioning the judges’ decision and condemning what he perceived as the promotion of homosexuality.
Bobrisky, not one to take criticism lightly, fired back, branding Portable as envious and threatening retaliation.
The feud escalated as Portable teased his upcoming track titled ‘Brotherhood,’ directly aimed at Bobrisky. In a snippet shared on Instagram, Portable didn’t hold back, criticising Bobrisky’s choice to undergo surgery for transitioning and urging Nigerians to demand proof of Bobrisky’s claimed identity.
The controversy didn’t end there. Actresses Dayo Amusan and Toyin Abraham joined the chorus of disapproval, expressing shock and disappointment at Bobrisky’s win, considering it disrespectful to women and traditional values.
Dayo even walked out of the event in protest, advocating for a separate category for cross-dressers.
As tensions rise and diss tracks fly, the entertainment world eagerly awaits the release of Portable’s ‘Brotherhood’ to see how this feud unfolds further.
