Governor Seyi Makinde confirmed Olayanju’s reappointment on Friday, July 14, 2023, Naija News reports.

A letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Segun Ogunwuyi, revealed that Makinde also approved the reapportionment of Mrs. Tara Adefope as the Director General of the Oyo State Bureau of Public Procurement.

The governor also appointed Engineer Mufutau Open Salawu as Executive Assistant, Project Monitoring.

In a separate statement made available to newsmen on Friday, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sulaimon Olanrewaju, affirmed the appointments, saying the appointees are to commence work with immediate effect.

Governor Makinde congratulated the new appointees and urged them to see their appointments as a call to service.
