Super Eagles striker Dessers who switched to the Scottish League during the summer has been impressing in the United Kingdom with Rangers FC.
The former Cremonese attacker in Italy has found the back of the net 12 times for Rangers and in the process the club’s top scorer.
He fired in a brace yesterday which took Rangers to the same point with rival Celtic at the top of the Scottish League.
Reacting after the game, Dessers told newsmen:
“I’m in a good place right now and I want to stay there,”
“I think I am coming to a lot of good positions to score, a lot of chances like today and then it’s all about the efficiency.
“If we can get it up or I can get it up even more then I can provide a lot of goals for the team and the rest of the season.”
Cyril Dessers has featured 35 times for Rangers since making his move from US Cremonese, and he has managed 14 goals and 7 assists for the club.
Dessers will remain hopeful that he can help the team challenge for the title and possibly win come the end of the season.
