Rudeboy, one half of the legendary music duo P-Square, has sparked controversy by claiming ownership of his brother Mr. P’s new single ‘Winning’, released on November 8, 2024.
Mr. P’s 2-pack EP features ‘Winning’ and ‘Attention’, but ‘Winning’ is now disputed.
On Instagram, Rudeboy uploaded a demo version of ‘Winning’ and stated, “Song title: WINNING NOW HOW COME? NOW AM I SUPPOSE TO RELEASE ANOTHER VERSION?… I submitted my 6 songs to the so-called management. Why re-sing my own song word for word?”
Rudeboy alleges he wrote ‘Winning’ for the cancelled P-Square reunion album. He accuses Mr. P of re-singing his song without permission.
Rudeboy continued on his Instagram story, “The days of manipulations are over… I will continue to release demos of any songs written by me.”
This development is the latest chapter in the ongoing feud between the brothers, despite fans’ and stakeholders’ calls for reconciliation.
The dispute has sparked mixed reactions from fans, with some supporting Rudeboy’s claims while others defend Mr. P’s right to release the song.
As the controversy unfolds, the future of P-Square’s music and the brothers’ relationship remains uncertain.
