The Rivers State House of Assembly has warned Governor Siminalayi Fubara of potential impeachment if necessary to uphold the Constitution.
This announcement came during a media briefing in Port Harcourt on Saturday, led by Speaker Martin Amaewhule and attended by 26 lawmakers.
During the briefing, Speaker Martin Amaewhule addressed recent criticisms directed towards Governor Wike by the former Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council, under the leadership of Dr. Abiye Sekibo. The lawmakers condemned these attacks and reaffirmed their support for Governor Wike.
