NPFL 24: Rangers Introduce E-Sports Division
Rangers International Football Club of Enugu has formally inaugurated its E-Sports division following a collaboration with Legacy Gaming Limited, a private firm.
The partnership aims to establish and manage the club’s electronic sports team, as reported by BSNSports
During a brief event at the club’s headquarters, CEO Amobi Ezeaku urged Legacy Gaming Limited to assemble a skilled team of E-players and instructors.
This strategic move is geared towards ensuring that the Rangers E-Sports team competes successfully and secures victories in both local and international championships.
“E-Sports presents a promising path, and I am confident that we will soon achieve remarkable success in this field. The management is committed to providing all necessary support to make this endeavor a success,” stated the youthful club leader.
This development positions Rangers as the pioneering Nigerian club to enter the competitive world of E-sports.
Key personalities such as Chukwuebuka Gideon Agbasi, COO of Legacy Gaming Limited, and George Nnamani, CEO of Legacy Limited, were present at the meeting. Notably, Bienouma Agaga-Akpati, a player representing the club in the EAFC game title, participated in the event, marking the club’s pioneering journey into the realm of competitive E-gaming.
