Rangers Chairman Ezeaku Appeals For Fans’ Support After Slow Start To NPFL Season.
Rangers chairman, Amobi Ezeaku, has called on the club’s supporters to remain patient as the team undergoes a rebuilding process. Ezeaku assured fans that the management of the Flying Antelopes is focused on laying a strong foundation that will ensure consistent growth and long-term success for the club.
The appeal comes after Rangers began their 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign with a goalless draw against El-Kanemi Warriors at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Saturday. Despite the slow start, Ezeaku is confident that the team is on the right track and urged the fans to continue supporting the players and management as they work towards achieving their goals for the season.
“We understand that the results may not be what our fans expect right now, but we are committed to building a team that will not only succeed this season but for many seasons to come,” Ezeaku said. “We ask for patience and continued support as we progress through this journey.”
Rangers are one of Nigeria’s most historic football clubs, and the management’s focus on long-term success aims to restore the team to its former glory in the NPFL.
