Randy Waldrum Steps Down As Super Falcons Coach.
Randy Waldrum has officially resigned as the head coach of Nigeria’s Super Falcons, citing personal reasons.
In a letter dated September 12th, Waldrum explained that his decision was driven by his wife’s health concerns, which had taken a toll on him in the weeks following the Olympics.
Waldrum, who took charge of the Super Falcons in October 2020, expressed gratitude for his time with the team. During his tenure, he led the Falcons to a quarter-final finish at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The quest to name his successor begins and NFF will hope to avoid the instability currently affecting the Super Eagles.
