President Bola Tinubu has issued a directive to security agencies, instructing them to take immediate action to rescue the remaining female students of the Federal University Gusau in Zamfara State who were recently abducted by terrorists.
Strongly condemning the abhorrent act of abduction, President Tinubu emphasised that there is no moral justification for such a heinous crime committed against innocent victims who were merely pursuing their right to quality education.
The President firmly stated that his administration bears a solemn responsibility to protect every Nigerian citizen. In keeping with this unwavering commitment, he assured the families of the abducted students that no effort would be spared in securing the safe return of their loved ones.
President Tinubu also pledged the Federal Government’s determination to safeguard educational institutions as havens of knowledge, growth, and opportunity. These institutions must remain completely shielded from the menacing acts of terrorists.
