His journalism career includes significant roles at Concord Newspapers and THISDAY Newspapers, where he served in various editorial capacities.
The statement highlights Bello’s educational background, noting that he holds a Master’s degree in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, where he also studied law and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2002. In 2001, he was appointed Chairman of the Editorial Board of THISDAY Newspapers. Bello is also a recipient of the US Alfred Friendly Press Fellowship.
