In a much-anticipated event scheduled for Tuesday, January 16, President Bola Tinubu is slated to launch two significant books centered on the tenure of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The occasion, chaired by former Head of State Yakubu Gowon, will also witness the presence of President Buhari himself.
The two books in focus are “Working with Buhari: Reflections of a Special Adviser, Media and Publicity (2015-2023)” authored by Femi Adesina and “Muhammadu Buhari: The Nigerian Legacy (2015-2023)” edited by Udu Yakubu.
Adesina and Yakubu clarified that these publications aim not to serve as public relations materials but rather as comprehensive records of President Buhari’s administration, compiled for historical preservation.
Emphasizing that the books do not constitute a biography of Buhari, the authors underscored their focus on governance and its impact on Nigeria.
Adesina, expressing his long-standing admiration for President Buhari dating back to his military leadership, assured that the books encapsulate every aspect of Buhari’s eight-year term, including pertinent details like his medical tourism.
The authors urged those seeking an in-depth understanding of the eight years under Buhari’s leadership to acquire these books.
They argued that the publications would play a crucial role in shaping public perception and fostering comprehension of President Buhari’s enduring legacies.
