Police Arrest Four Over Missing NYSC Member In Rivers State.

The Rivers State Police Command has apprehended four individuals in connection with the mysterious disappearance of Yahaya Faruq, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member. Faruq, who was serving in Ikuru Town, Andoni Local Government Area, went missing on October 14 after reporting for work at his part-time job at LDM Chinese Mining Company.

The incident has raised concerns across the community, prompting many to petition security agencies to investigate Faruq’s sudden disappearance. Grace Iringe-Koko, the spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, confirmed the arrests to the News Agency of Nigeria, stating that the suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.

“No fewer than four persons have been arrested and transferred for discreet investigation,” Iringe-Koko, a Superintendent of Police, revealed.

The case has sparked public interest, with many hoping for a swift resolution to uncover Faruq’s whereabouts. Investigations are ongoing.
