Nigeria’s Super Falcons Uchenna Kanu made all the headlines late on Saturday night in Racing Louisville FC’s away draw to Thorn FC.
Since arriving in the National Women’s Soccer League, Kanu has become a key player for Racing and she has also stamped her authority in the team.
Racing visited Thorn FC in a league game and it was Kanu who created history.
The Nigerian International scored a brace in 5 minutes to earn her team a valuable away draw and a point.
It took the host’s last-minute effort before they could secure a draw in the game which was dominated by the away side.
Kanu who is expected to be in action when the Falcons face the Banyana Banyana of South Africa in the final round of the Paris 2024 qualifier is now the tastes player to score a brace in the NWSL.
