Bayelsa Queens Strengthen Squad With New Signings Ahead Of 2024-25 Season.
Bayelsa Queens have reinforced their squad with the addition of three new players as they prepare for the upcoming Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) season.
The club has secured the services of Oscar Precious, Confidence Onen, and Yinusa Zainab. The trio joins the Yenagoa-based side from Imo Strikers, Kwara Ladies, and Dream Stars Ladies of Lagos, respectively.
Head coach Whyte Ogbonda has explained the rationale behind these signings, highlighting the need to enhance the team’s attacking options.
“These signings were made to strengthen our attacking force ahead of the 2024-25 season,” Ogbonda stated. “I believe that with the addition of these players, we will be in a strong position to compete effectively in the new season.”
Bayelsa Queens are hoping that the new recruits will help them maintain their status as one of the top teams in the NWFL as they set their sights on a successful campaign.
