Sporting Lagos has responded to a video circulating online, where an alleged fan threatened a Brilla FM reporter, says the individual doesn’t represent their values and affirming that the door is always open to Brilla FM for Matchday coverage.
Sporting Lagos has released an official statement distancing itself from a fan who threatened a Brilla FM reporter during the club’s last home game against Enyimba.
The match, which concluded with a 2-1 victory for Sporting Lagos, was overshadowed by an incident involving a fan who was caught on video issuing threats to Brilla FM reporters.
In their statement, Sporting Lagos made it clear that they have no affiliation with the individual involved and that the fan’s actions do not reflect the club’s values.
“The club affirms that it has no connection with the alleged fan, and the individual does not represent the values Sporting Lagos stands for,” the statement read.
