Stanley Eguma the head coach of Rivers United has refuted claims that his team is in crisis.
Rivers united gaffer Stanley Eguma has responded to the recent issue about some players who recently left the club due to the contract related issues, with many media claiming the club is in crisis. But Eguma has now reiterated that they have a very good set up and welfare in the team and his team is not in crisis.
Stanley Eguma while speaking with newsmen has these to say.
” Every players has their contractual terms and if any players is not satisfied with the contract or breach of contract the player has the right to call for termination”
“Here in Rivers, we have a very good set up and a very good welfare in the team”
“The whole thing has to do with the individual players, the players that decided to leave the team have left and there is no problem in the team”, Eguma said.
The second half of the season begins this Sunday as matches return in the NPFL and Rivers United will be in action when they take on Doma United in their home ground. The Port Harcourt based club will be aiming to get the maximum 3 point as they continue their 2023/2024 Season.
