NNL appeals to corporate bodies and private firms for sponsorship in Nigeria’s Second Division
The Nigeria National League Organizers has appealed to private firms to embrace the league because of its unique nature in the country’s football development.
The Chairman, George Aluo made the appeal while chatting with journalist in Abuja.
Aluo stated that the league remains the most important league in the country.
He likewise mentioned the achievements recorded in the first half of the NNL season.
And also promised that the body will intensify efforts to make the league on par with her contemporaries from other parts of the world.
“This is how important the league is, and deserves all the special attention from corporate sponsors,”
“We have zero percent tolerance for hooliganism and the ones we have noticed, were dealt with immediately. Said Aluo.
“Referees welfare were taken care of promptly, the teams are doing well because they have very conducive environment to play the matches.”
Matches will resume in the NNL on the 18th of February across the country in the four conference zones.
