Nigerian tech mogul Leo Stan Ekeh, Chairman of Zinox Group, Africa’s largest ICT conglomerate, has donated state-of-the-art training centers to Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri, and St. Augustine University, Epe, Lagos State.

Unveiled on Thursday, April 4, 2024, the Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation (LSEF) Centers aim to equip students with essential skills tailored to meet the demands of the modern workforce.

At IMSU, programs such as the Finishing School, Entrepreneurship Boost Training, and specialized courses in Technology and Artificial Intelligence Viability will be offered, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students.

The LSEF Center at IMSU is not just a physical space but a gateway to global private sector leaders who will inspire and mentor students using cutting-edge technology deployed at the center. Prof. U. U. Chukwumaeze(SAN), Vice Chancellor of IMSU, commended Ekeh’s futuristic vision, and appreciated his continuous support for the institution, including recent interventions to aid accreditation processes.

Similarly, the center at St. Augustine University in Lagos boasts top-of-the-range technology, including All-in-One Zinox Computers and Smart Boards. Prof. Christopher Odetunde, Vice-Chancellor of St. Augustine University, praised Ekeh’s commitment to uplifting the youth, expressing gratitude for his philanthropic endeavors.

What sets these centers apart is the integration of quality Artificial Intelligence, remotely powered from Zinox Group Headquarters, enabling Ekeh to monitor and deliver speeches simultaneously at both campuses. Ekeh stated his determination to cultivate a new generation of Nigerians equipped with the skills to shape their destinies and defend their wealth.

Beyond these donations, Ekeh’s philanthropic gestures has always geared towards advancing education and empowering youth across Africa. His vision extends far beyond the LSEF Centers, evident in his leadership at Zinox Group and numerous groundbreaking initiatives driving technological advancement on the continent.

Expressing his belief in education’s transformative power, Ekeh stated the importance of nurturing young talents to become architects of Nigeria and Africa’s brighter future. Through initiatives like the LSEF Center, Ekeh hopes to inspire innovation and entrepreneurship, paving the way for generations of students to excel in the digital age.
