The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has vehemently opposed the intended privatisation of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), cautioning against its potential detrimental impact on the socio-economic landscape of the country.
In response to the Federal Government’s proposal to sell the company, NLC President Joe Ajaero expressed grave concerns, highlighting the perilous consequences this move could inflict upon Nigeria’s power sector and its stakeholders.
Ajaero stressed that the envisaged privatisation poses significant dangers and instills apprehension among key players within the power industry.
The NLC, therefore, urged all Nigerians to unite against this decision, emphasizing its repercussions on future generations.
