Nigerian Army Neutralises Five Bandits In Zamfara.
Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji have successfully neutralised five bandits during a fierce gunfight in Mararaban Kyaware, Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, according to a report by counter-terrorism expert, Zagazola Makama.
Makama disclosed that the troops, acting on intelligence, engaged the bandits in a well-coordinated operation. After an intense battle, the soldiers overpowered the attackers, forcing the surviving bandits to flee with injuries. Several other bandits were also reported to have been wounded during the clash.
This operation comes just 48 hours after the Nigerian military neutralised a notorious bandit leader, Kachalla Ibrahim Gurgun Daji, in the Mada area of Gusau, the Zamfara State capital. Gurgun Daji was eliminated in Kwanar Nasiru, a village east of Mada town, marking a significant blow to banditry in the region.
The Nigerian Army continues its efforts to rid Zamfara and surrounding areas of bandit activity, with regular operations aimed at restoring peace and security.
