Nigeria’s U-17 girls on Friday heavily thrashed their opponent, the Central Africa Republic, CAR 6-0 in Abuja in the second leg of FIFA 2024 U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier.

Chidi Harmony scored an hat-trick and a brace from Kareem Ramona’s coupled with Ojiyovwi Kesiena lone strike sealed the evening for the Flamingos. Leaving the aggregate score against the CAR 12:0

The initial first encounter by Bankole Olowookere girls in CAR saw them beat Central African Republic 6-0 at home before completing the task earlier today in Abuja





The final round of qualifiers will see Nigeria take on Burkina Faso. With the first leg slated to hold May 10 2024 in Burkina Faso. The winner of the two legs will ultimately pick up a qualifying ticket for the U-17 women’s world cup.

This year’s FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup tournament will be hosted in the Dominican.

It will be the first time the Dominican Republic has ever hosted a FIFA tournament. The event is slated to hold between 16th of October – 3rd of November 2024.
