NFF Sets 25th February Deadline For CAF B-License Coaching Course Registration.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that registration for the upcoming CAF B-License Coaching Course will close at midnight on Tuesday, 25th February 2025. The four-month course is scheduled to run from April to August and is aimed at enhancing the capacity of Nigerian coaches.
According to NFF Technical Director, Coach Augustine Eguavoen, the course is open to both male and female coaches and will be delivered in modules. It is part of the federation’s broader strategy to equip coaches across the country with modern coaching skills.
To be eligible, applicants must be active coaches, hold a CAF C-License that has been in use for at least two years, and have basic proficiency in English and computer skills. Additionally, candidates must own a laptop, possess a valid Gmail account, and submit a medical certificate proving they are physically and mentally fit for the course.
“The response has been overwhelming, which is why we have decided to bring the deadline forward,” Eguavoen explained. “The new deadline is midnight on 25th February 2025 for all intending participants.”
Last year, the NFF successfully organised a CAF C-License programme exclusively for women—the first of its kind—which attracted 30 female coaches from across the country, including former Nigeria international players. That course, delivered in three modules, took place between July and September 2024.
The upcoming CAF B-License course is expected to further strengthen Nigeria’s coaching landscape, providing participants with the skills to meet both present and future challenges in football management.
