The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has fixed a date for the commencement of the Oldest football competition in the country, the Federation Cup 2023/2024 football season.
The NFF made the disclosure through the director of competition, Ruth David in Abuja on Tuesday.
The Federation Cup state preliminaries have been fixed to commence between 1st March – 31st March 2024 across all the states in the country.
While the finals has been scheduled to hold on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st March 2024.
NFF emphasized that any state which fails to adhere with the stipulated date will face severe punishment.
The competition was won last year by Bendel Insurance back in 2023.
Several teams both from the NNL and the NPFL will be at a loggerhead as they justle for the Federation Cup crown.
