NFF Identifies Participants For First Batch Of CAF B-License Coaching Course.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has identified and contacted participants for the first batch of the CAF B-License Coaching Course, which will run from April to August 2025. This initiative is part of the NFF’s strategic plan to enhance coaching capacity across the country.
According to the NFF Technical Director, Coach Augustine Eguavoen, selected participants have been notified via email. He urged all applicants to check their inboxes, including spam and junk folders, as the information provided is time-sensitive.
The four-month course, scheduled to take place from 7 April to 25 August 2025, will be conducted in modules. Meanwhile, successful applicants for the second and third batches will be contacted in the coming weeks.
Eguavoen revealed that the response to the registration process, which closed at midnight on 25 February, was highly encouraging. He also confirmed that the programme is open to both men and women, ensuring inclusivity in the development of coaching expertise.
This follows last year’s successful organisation of a CAF C-License course, which was exclusively for women and the first of its kind in Nigeria. Held between July and September, the course featured 30 participants, including several former Nigeria internationals.
With this latest initiative, the NFF continues to demonstrate its commitment to advancing football coaching in the country, paving the way for a new generation of skilled and certified coaches.
