NFF Names Former Shooting Stars Goalkeeper as Golden Eaglets’ Goalkeeping Trainer
In a recent development, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed Anthony Donwa, a former goalkeeper for Shooting Stars, as the new goalkeeper trainer for Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets. (As earlier reported by Braceradio)
Donwa, who previously represented the Oluyole Warriors and later served as a goalkeeper trainer for Rangers International of Enugu, brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
The announcement of Donwa’s appointment was met with celebration by Rangers International, who took to social media to congratulate him and express their pride in his achievement.
“Congratulations, Coach! On your appointment as goalkeeper coach for Nigeria’s U17 team. We are proud of you,” the club stated.
Donwa’s primary task will be to collaborate with newly appointed head coach Manu Garba and ensure that Nigeria delivers an impressive performance in the upcoming 2024 WAFU B Championship in Ghana.
