NFF Announces Open Call for Flying Eagles Head Coach Applications.
On Monday, 29 July 2024, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced an open call for applications for the position of head coach of the Flying Eagles. The NFF outlined the necessary qualifications and application process on their official website.
To be considered for the role, candidates must possess at least a CAF B License and have a minimum of five years of coaching experience. A strong familiarity with Nigeria’s domestic football scene, robust leadership qualities, and proficiency in English are essential requirements.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate integrity and transparency in their work. They must be willing to collaborate closely with the NFF Technical Department and Technical Sub-Committee, and have a proven track record of recent success in coaching over the past three years. Additionally, a harmonious working relationship with the NFF leadership is crucial.
Ladan Bosso, the current head coach of Bayelsa United FC, was the last individual to manage the Flying Eagles.
The NFF encourages all Nigerian coaches, including those based overseas, to apply for the position. The application deadline is set for Sunday, 4 August 2024, with the successful candidate being chosen following a thorough screening process.
