National Housing Program Undergoes Comprehensive Review of House Sales by Ministry of Works and Housing in Nigeria. Official Announcement Shared on Ministry’s X Handle.
According to the ministry, this review is a crucial step in the implementation of the new sales phase for houses. Interested applicants are now invited to obtain Expression of Interest Forms for the upcoming allocation process.
Notably, those who were previously offered provisional allocations between March 10, 2022, and October 18, 2023, have the opportunity to reapply.
“Interested subscribers who were offered a provisional offer of allocation that elapsed between 10th March 2022 and 18th October 2023 are free to reapply by completing the Expression of Interest Form,” the statement highlighted.
The ministry has also taken steps to make the application process accessible to all interested parties. It urged applicants to collect the Expression of Interest Forms at no cost from the offices of the Federal Controllers of Housing and Urban Development located in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
For Nigerians residing in the diaspora, the ministry has provided an option to obtain the forms from the office of the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).
This initiative by the government is a commitment to inclusivity and ensuring that the National Housing Program remains a viable avenue for citizens to secure affordable and quality housing.
Interested parties are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and actively participate in the reapplication process for provisional house allocations.
