NASFAT To Mark 30th Anniversary With High-Profile Lecture.
The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) will commemorate its 30th anniversary with a high-profile lecture on May 3, 2025, at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research in Yaba, Lagos. The event will feature prominent speakers and dignitaries, including Senator Kashim Shettima, Vice President of Nigeria, as the Special Guest of Honour.
The keynote address will be delivered by Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), former Governor of Lagos State. Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, will serve as the chief host, while Ogun State Deputy Governor, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, will be the co-host. The event will be presided over by Dr. Wale Babalakin (SAN), a renowned legal luminary.
NASFAT President, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, highlighted the society’s role as a “pace-setting global Islamic society” committed to delivering innovative dawah and spiritual growth. The society’s Chief Missioner, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, emphasized NASFAT’s inclusive nature, stating that its spiritual activities welcome people from all backgrounds.
