FC Nantes has announced that Nigerian winger Moses Simon will miss the rest of the season due to a fractured fibula sustained during an international friendly against Mali.
Following the injury he suffered on Tuesday, French Ligue One side FC Nantes has confirmed that Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Moses Simon is out of the season.
Simon was in action on Tuesday when the Super Eagles faced the Eagles of Mali in an international friendly in Marrakech, Morocco.
Nigeria lost the game 2-0 but Simon’s injury seemed to be the biggest news.
“Moses Simon was injured against Mali yesterday, our Nigerian striker suffers from a fractured fibula which means the end of the season”, the club said.
The injury occurred on Tuesday during the match in Marrakech, Morocco, where Nigeria faced Mali and suffered a 2-0.
